HOOD-RATS
Although fucked up, this was, I’m glad I never went full hood-rat. For the most part I still enjoy the benefits of having a the reputation of a woman who knows when to let her hair down and when to display poise and grace. I still respect marriage and I do believe in monogamy even though historically, with the one exception I shared, I’m usually the monogamous one in the relationship.
I was engaged, then I wasn’t.
“I’ve heard some fucked up stories in my lifetime, but I was pretty messed up after this one , actually I was messed up before this one. And believe me when I say I’m not trying to one-up anyone on relationship drama, I know there are many jacked up situations happening as we speak that make my shit sound like Disney World. But I’m gonna share my story anyway because there are some things we need to address in regards to boundaries, and respecting one’s time.”

The Fourth ‘A’ Word
He expressed himself in such a way that the only point of the conversation was to understand his point. Yeah, I knew that relationship wasn’t gonna last forever. Everything was an argument. Now you can blame it on my Sun in Pisces, but I’m generally a very adaptable person. I assess my situation, and I develop a plan that would make me comfortable in that situation, then I ride it out. And I rode that relationship out until the tie rods snapped! And not just that one.

Self-defeat
